With the birth of the Living Saint Emmelia on the world of Nightfall Primus, the Turbidious Sector had a figure to rally behind as they challenged the Chaos incursion. The Chaos Warmaster Abel Vargas recognised the threat the Saint posed to his plans and aimed to crush her outright but the Chaos Lord was not counting on the quick response of the Imperium to their new hero.

Imperial vox and pict reports have indicated the presence of older classes of Eldar vessels sailing the void in the Turbidious Sector.
These field reports were provided to the Adeptus Mechanicum for cross referencing and the Magos Explorator Jayum has provided dossiers on these ships. The Imperial records indicate that there appears that there are two distinct classes of the older Eldar class of ships. With various important systems besieged all across the Sector it came as a hammer blow to the Imperium’s war effort when Astropathic reports indicated that the Chaos Warhost had received various reinforcements across the main battlezones.
Astropaths noted the arrival of flagships of the various Chaos gods, as well as their attendant escort ships. It seemed the Dark Gods had identified the Turbidious Sector ripe for conquest and had sent some of their most powerful warships. In reality this fleet is the second largest section within Battlefleet Turbidious, the other sections being the Protectorate Fleet and Ironclad Fleet (here).
The Reserve Fleet consists of various different ship classes, with the fleet make up not conforming to any standard. It is first and foremost a reserve fleet, designed to assist in the protection of merchant shipping and trade lanes. The fleet additionally will be on patrol and guard outposts and stations throughout the sector. The Capital world of the Sector is Turbidious Prime which is a huge merchant and trading world, this is due to it being based in the centre of the Sector (maps). Due to its position the world has enjoyed vast wealth and power and it is the direct result from the excellent trade routes to the rest of the Sector, these trade routes are calm routes in the warp. More importantly for the Battlefleet however, the stable warp routes to and from the sectors heart that is utilised for trade are also ideal for the Navy to conduct patrols and get to warzones quickly.
