We are back in 2024 for the 6th year running this competition!
Amazing and as ever, as tradition, the first couple of months are rolled into one and the theme is 'Any Ship'. This lets folks ease into the year. AuthorTurbidious Happy New Year my fellow admirals!
The BFG community goes from strength to strength with more designers and creators joining the community. This painting competition continues to roll on and warp rift magazine is well and truly back with a vengeance. We also have a fantastic remastered rulebook and fleet list we all can now use, along with a brilliant and easy to use Starter Kit to help get folks into this wonderful game. Its a good time to be an admiral. As is tradition the final painting competition of the year is always held in November and the theme is always Fleets.
A chance to showcase all the lovely ships admirals have painted throughout the year. WAAAGH! Listen up, ya gitz! We'z 'ere to talk about da biggest, flashiest, and most kunnin' paintin' competition dis side of da warp! Itz ORKTOBER!
It's a propa good time for all you Mekboyz, Weirdboyz, and even dem humie painters. Orks everywhere have entered some flashy fleetz dis month! This month we are letting the little ships take the spotlight.
Often passed over by their bigger and flashier ships the humble escort though can be a backbone of a fleet (Eldar escorts anyone...) Do you hear the voices too!!!
This months theme is all things chaos. The gods are all represented here and an entry was even tyranids. Can you be more chaotic then entering something that isnt the theme. I love it. A classic theme to return to this month after a couple of random themes.
Going with the classic cruiser class and there were 19 entries! Cruisers were entered from various races within the 40k universe as well, a good sign I would say. Junes theme was all around the fantastic conversions and all the amazing new 3d designs that is being produced by the BFG Community.
Plenty of fantastic entries again, a character ship and a totally unexpected entry snuck in too. Decided to mix it up a bit this month and try a new theme.
This one was all about the various monsters that could inhabit space, or maybe the chaos gods themselves. Or it could be the god machines of Mars themselves. I think this theme allowed for some quite original entries. |
I run a Monthly Painting Competition over on the main Battlefleet Gothic Facebook page (Here) and these are each months entries.
The Competition is also sponsored by Battlefleet Galaxy Much appreciated. Archives
