Imperial vox and pict reports have indicated the presence of older classes of Eldar vessels sailing the void in the Turbidious Sector. These field reports were provided to the Adeptus Mechanicum for cross referencing and the Magos Explorator Jayum has provided dossiers on these ships. The Imperial records indicate that there appears that there are two distinct classes of the older Eldar class of ships. What was surprising to the High Admiralty was that these ships are considered older to the already ancient forms of the Eldar Aemelith Craftworld. The designation of these ships seems to suggest that some are still allied to the Craftworld while others have adapted to the Corsair way of life. These ships have be designated the following, however the High Admiralty is still yet uncertain of their real capabilities. Nightwraith The ships armament appears to include the powerful weapons batteries of the Eldar race and has typically been seen in packs of two. The ships do not mount the usual sails that profile the Eldar void craft and reports suggest that it is consequently slower to manoeuvre than some of its sister ships. However, it is still a formidable vessel capable of unleashing highly accurate macro cannon fire. Any captain who underestimates these ancient vessels will do so at their cost of their life. These ships have been spotted working alongside their Craftworld kin. Voidhunter
Mounted on a cruiser hull the ship appears to be a powerful ordnance platform, capable of firing multiple salvos of the dreaded Eldar torpedoes at their targets. Fast and able to easily position themselves for accurate torpedoes runs these ships have been noted to cripple their prey before looting them and making off into the stellar void. These ships have only be observed hunting with the Corsair fleets. --------- The Voidhunter ships can only be included in the Eldar Corsair fleet, while the Nightwraith can only be taken in the Craftworld fleet. The Nightwraith does not have the solar sails typical of most Eldar vessels and uses other means of propulsion. Consequently, it is slightly slower than its sister ships.
