AuthorJustin This one is a bit of a trick question. If I asked you what date BFG was first advertised in White Dwarf, what would you think? I bet you wouldn’t say November 1989(!), 20 months before the release of Space Fleet and almost 10 years before the release of the game we know and love.

AuthorJustin Hi everyone, this one goes out with massive thanks to Ken Kyoto as he discovered it recently. Issue 18 of Troll magazine lists the Forgeworld half planet / moon for sale along with some fantastic weird and wonderful weapon platform conversions for BFG.
AuthorJustin Hi everyone, here is the first BFG Fun Fact for 2021! In issue 41, the June/July 2001 edition, of Troll magazine (the North American version) a ‘Space Marine Drop Ship’ was advertised for BFG.
AuthorJustin Hi everyone and hope you are well.
Take a look at these unusual variant Imperial attack craft. The wings are in an ‘H’ shape, a bit like a tie fighter. AuthorJustin This is the last in our mini series describing all the prototypes for BFG - and this one is more of an “unsolved mystery” than a fun fact.
AuthorJustin We are nearing the end of our mini series showcasing all the prototypes from before the game was released; this is the the penultimate post. And get ready, because it’s super cool!
Another prototype. This one goes out with big thanks to Turbidious (thats me) as he traded me these pieces. It’s a set of Imperial Weapon Batteries and a prow for a battleship. You have to rustle up the rest of the battleship yourself!
AuthorJustin Check out this unreleased Imperial prototype ship, a miniature originally sculpted for playtesting before the game was launched.
AuthorJustin Here we begin a mini series looking at all the prototype ships from before BFG was released.
